One of my favorite quotes is “Life is a journey, not a destination”. About two years ago, I decided to move into a healthier lifestyle, and decided to take my Yoga practice to the next level and become a Yoga Teacher. This past year has been quite the journey. I left my job in retail, and am currently teaching Yoga, Pilates and Spin full time. (Learn more in the “About Me” section of my blog)
As I become “of a certain age” this year, my goal was to look and feel the best I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m not talking six pack abs here or anything, but I’m talking about feeling and looking my best, and being my healthiest. Besides, I don’t think I’ll ever look like someone out of Men’s Health, and I’m okay with that.
This blog is to showcase my journey to my healthiest self. It’s to share my knowledge of Yoga, Pilates, Indoor Cycling/Spin, and Biking/Cycling. I will post tips and information on these forms of exercise (such as playlists from my classes, breaking down Yoga poses, etc), vegan and clean eating recipes, photographs that journal my healthy lifestyle, reports and thoughts as I train for my first Century Ride this year, and pretty much anything else that comes up.
