When I was at the height of disordered eating, working out was something I did to burn calories. I did all kinds of workouts that I hated because they burned lots of calories. It wasnโt until I discovered Yoga and Pilates that I realized I could MOVE my body again and in a way that was joyful. ๐

But then I became a Pilates teacher and I struggled with doubts if I would I be successful? Could I run a successful Pilates studio if I wasnโt a male model with six pack abs? Could I be successful if I was a โnormalโ body just moving in a joyful way? Would I have enough business to sustain a successful Pilates studio? Did I have to look like societyโs idea of a Pilates teacher?๐

But through body positivity and body acceptance I learned that joyful movement and how you feel in your body is more important than how you look! Now I want to share the message that Pilates is for every body and every BODY, regardless of age, fitness level, body type, injuries or medical/physical condition.๐
